Windscreen
Cycling through the countryside with the wind in your hair feels wonderful, but in Dutch weather that pleasant summer breeze can quickly turn into a strong headwind. To protect your child from this Dutch wind, we developed the Qibbel Air windsreen. This sturdy screen can take a knock and ensures your child stays comfortable on the bike in all weather conditions.
Fun Accessory: the Toybar
To make your cycling adventures even more fun, we created the Qibbel Toybar. This play handlebar comes with a horn and animal navigation. The toybar is available in green and grey and is easily mounted on the windshield bracket.
Steering tube attachment
Would you like to use your front seat on multiple bikes? Then install the Qibbel Air steering tube attachment on each bike. This way you can move the front seat from mom’s bike to grandpa’s bike in no time, without needing to buy multiple seats. The bracket fits standard and ahead stems with a diameter of 22 to 36 millimetres.
Lock
Want to prevent your bike seat from being stolen while you’re shopping or enjoying a cosy café lunch? Then the Qibbel Air lock is an essential accessory. This small and handy lock keeps both your front and rear seat safely secured to your bike.
Frame attachment
Would you like to use the Qibbel Air rear seat on a bike without a luggage carrier? No problem! With the frame attachment, you can mount our rear seat on a bike without a carrier in no time. You can buy the rear seat including the frame bracket or purchase the bracket separately. It fits round and oval frames with a diameter of 28 to 40 millimetres.
Footrests
Is your child ready for the 6+ Junior bike seat? Then foldable footrests are a must. They are supplied as standard with the seat, but you can also buy them separately. If you want to use the seat on multiple bikes – for example on dad’s and grandma’s bike – it’s convenient to install footrests on both bikes.
The footrests make riding more comfortable and safer. They have a non-slip profile so little feet won’t slide off easily. Be sure to remind your child that their feet are close to the turning wheel and that incorrect use could trap feet in the spokes. When no one is on the back seat, simply fold the footrests in. They fit tubes with a diameter of 12 to 27 millimetres.
Foot Protection Plates
The foot protection plates are included with every Qibbel Junior 6+ seat. Do you want to switch the rear seat easily between bikes? No problem! With extra Qibbel footrests and foot protection plates on the second bike, your child can ride safely and comfortably. Have you bought a Qibbel Junior 6+ seat before and don’t have foot protection plates? The unique plates fit all Qibbel footrests. Simply push them over the footrest and you’re done. The plates can be set in a high or low position to provide optimal protection for every child.
